You Need a Financial Planner

There may be a few of us who are willing to ride the 100 foot wave, but the rest of us are generally geared toward stability and predictability. Whichever course you choose, you will probably need a Financial Planner to achieve your future goals. Here are a few things to consider:

1. You don’t need to figure this out on your own. Truth be told, you really shouldn’t. Financial Planners have the background knowledge and industry expertise. It’s their job!

2. You don’t need to have a lot of money. Financial planners work with your unique situation — your income, savings, budget, and goals. They help you make informed decisions to reach a secure financial future.

3. Tips to Find a Financial Planner:

  • What is their specialty? (retirement, investments, insurance, etc.)

  • Will they work with your current and future goals?

  • Do you feel like you are being treated with respect?

4. They will help you balance out your risk. The market volatility can make even the hardiest of us queasy. Financial Planners cater your portfolio to match your future goals.

Interview a few Financial Planners to see who might be the best fit for you. Do some internet searching to see the types of questions you will need to ask. Your Financial Planner should have a few different scenarios to help you make informed decisions on your future. All of this work will be worth the effort in the long run.
