3 Vital Things You Need to Pre-Plan

There are many ways to get organized for your future. Here are three things to pre-plan that will help you and your loved ones avoid months of confusion, money and possibly fighting. The sad truth is that your lack of planning will become a loved one's crisis. Don't let this be you!
A WILL: Please save your loved ones months of paperwork, costs and anxiety. (Check out our other posts on the different ways to create a legally binding will.) Don't forget about these other documents: Financial Power of Attorney, Health Power of Attorney and Funeral Wishes.
BENEFICIARIES: Go to your bank, financial advisor, employer, etc. to add beneficiaries to all of your cash assets: bank accounts, retirement accounts, investments, life insurance policies.
PRE-PAID FUNERAL EXPENSES: Why you should do this today: it will cost less money; your wishes will be followed; you will save your family money, time and conflict.
